Valentine's Pet Potraits TODAY! Athens, Georgia

Don't forget! Today from 4-8pm at Pet Supplies "Plus" in Athens. We know the weather's pretty yucky outside, but dressing up in feather boas and pearls (ladies?) makes everyone feel better! Don't worry boys, we brought a few bow ties for you! So come brave the weather and enjoy some snacks and cocoa with us. We hope to see you there!!

Franklin County Georgia

I couldn't let a gorgeous day go to waste, so we decided to drive around and get some shots of local landmarks. We stopped in Carnesville to check out the County Courthouse...

Then to Lavonia to visit the Train Depot, and the Carnegie Library. Lavonia is the smallest city to have an original Carnegie Library.

We also visited the Burgess Cemetery where it's told that a gypsy queen is buried. The site has just recently been rediscovered, however it's not marked yet. The Historic Preservation Society held it's first annual tour of the cemetery last year and will host another on April 25th complete with actors in period garb, including a troupe of gypsies!)
